Tactical RMM is a self-hosted remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform for IT administrators and managed service providers. It combines a Django server with a Vue web interface and an agent written in Go. Features include remote desktop, a remote shell and file browser, script execution, Windows patch management, automated checks with alerts, and hardware and software inventory. It can replace commercial RMM suites such as ConnectWise Automate or NinjaOne. You install the server yourself, on a VPS or on-premises.

Tactical RMM is made by AmidaWare, based in the United States. The source code is public, but the Tactical RMM License states that it is not an open-source licence: offering it as SaaS, reselling it or using it for profit requires written approval from AmidaWare. According to the documentation, data stays on your own server and is not transmitted elsewhere. GDPR compliance therefore depends on your own hosting and configuration.
