Sticky Password is a password manager for PC, iOS and Android, with browser extensions for a range of browsers. The application keeps passwords and card and bank details in an encrypted vault and fills in login details automatically; password sharing and two-factor authentication are also supported. The vault uses AES-256 encryption, and according to an independent review the provider does not know the master password. During setup you choose between cloud synchronisation and local synchronisation over Wi-Fi, in which case the data does not travel over the internet.
Sticky Password is developed by Lamantine Software a.s. in Brno, Czech Republic, so within the European Union. The sources consulted did not identify an owner outside the EU. The software is proprietary, not open source. With local Wi-Fi synchronisation, vault data stays on your own devices; with cloud synchronisation, the position depends on where the provider stores data, which the sources consulted do not specify. A European organisation that wants to retain control over its data can therefore choose local synchronisation.
