Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service is an application for customer service and case management. Agents get Copilot help with diagnosis and draft replies, real-time insights such as sentiment analysis, translation and knowledge articles, and AI-based routing to the right colleague. Supervisors see a dashboard with KPIs across channels. Customers can use self-service, chatbots and conversational IVR. Microsoft offers prebuilt service agents and custom agents built in Copilot Studio. The application is delivered as a cloud service and integrates with Teams and the Power Platform.
Microsoft is headquartered in Redmond, Washington, in the United States, and is subject to US law, including the CLOUD Act. Dynamics 365 customer data is stored in Azure datacentres within the macro region geography the customer selects and may be replicated within that region. Some data, such as CDN caches, admin portals, and table and column names, can be stored globally. Microsoft does not restrict the locations from which customers or their users may access the data. The product is not open source.
