pretix is ticketing software for events such as conferences, trade fairs, museums, festivals, concerts and workshops. At its core is an adjustable online ticket shop with a back end, supplemented by marketing tools, box-office and access-control apps, reporting, and payments through a payment provider of the organiser's choice. Additional modules cover, for example, exhibitor lead capture and virtual events. pretix is available as a hosted service at pretix.eu and can also be installed on your own server.

pretix is offered by pretix GmbH in Heidelberg, Germany. According to its privacy policy, all stored data is held on servers in data centres run by German companies. The software is mostly open source under the GNU AGPL v3 with additional terms; some parts fall under other licences. Organisations that want full control can self-host pretix, for example using the Docker setup in the repository, and keep the data within their own infrastructure. Those who use the hosted service are subject to German and European law, and can also obtain commercial support from the same vendor.
