Countly is a product analytics and customer engagement platform for mobile apps, web, desktop and connected devices. Data is collected through SDKs and an API, followed by reports, dashboards, cohort segmentation, A/B testing, surveys, push notifications and in-app journeys. Countly is delivered in three ways: Flex (a private cloud with a choice of hosting region), Enterprise (on-premise) and a free self-hosted Lite edition.
Countly Ltd is based in London, United Kingdom, and therefore outside the EU; no foreign parent company is known, and the company describes itself as independent. The source code is on GitHub under AGPL-3.0 with a modified Section 7, which among other things requires the Countly name and logo to be kept. Organisations that self-host decide where their data lives. With Flex you choose a hosting region; the website does not name the providers or data centres behind it.
